Momentum Workout-Friendly Jewelry Giveaway

Triathlon training and yoga teacher training have kept me busy lately and they’ve also kept me away from my jewelry organizer. Back when I was trying to make ends meet after college, I sold jewelry for one of those home party companies and was given the “Five S’s of Jewelry Care.” Avoid sweat, sleep, sprays, showers and swimming. You’ll notice that 2/5 are a bit of an issue for me. Sweating & swimming are high on the daily activity list around here (I promise showers are too), so I was excited when Amy Cochrane from Momentum contacted me to review some of their workout-friendly jewelry items.

Amy shared the following about her business. I love stories like this one – motivation & inspiration can come at any moment!

“The spark for Momentum came a little over 2 years ago.  While doing the plank at my favorite class at the gym, I looked down at my wrist and realized how great it would be to have something encouraging there – like my own personal cheerleader!

Our jewelry is geared towards active individuals, is extremely comfortable, and is designed specifically to be worn while exercising.  We’ve found that our pieces really resonate not only with devoted fitness enthusiasts, but also with those who are looking for a little extra motivation.”

Amy was kind enough to send me a Motivate Wrap & a Foot Notes shoe charm to enjoy. I ordered the Motivate Wrap in Hot Pink with a rectangular pendant and my new motto/mantra for life:

I tested the wrap out at my Saturday evening yoga class. Since it was the Summer Solstice, we celebrated by doing 108 sun salutations. The wrap didn’t budge, slip or become aggravating like any of my other jewelry would have. “Soft as a hug” is right! It was great to look down (a bit like Amy!) during downward dog and see it there as a reminder. I also like that the fabric can be trimmed and washed as needed.

I ordered the Foot Notes with the saying “Be the Change” on it and gave it to my tween daughter to test out. I laced it in to her shoe before she headed out for her cross-country workout this morning and she loved it.

Momentum would like to share the love with you, lucky reader! You can win either a Motivate Wrap bracelet or Foot Notes charm as your prize with your choice of inspirational saying if you win. The Rafflecopter giveaway will run from today (6/24) through midnight on Monday, June 30th. Random winner will be chosen on Tuesday, July 1st and notified via email or social media.

I love these things and must get one before my next big race. It was really hard trying to find one that I liked the best, but I was definitely fond of the “Be the best version of you.” saying.

I love these! I really want one for my shoe. I’m starting training for the Marine Corps Marathon this week and would love to have a little extra motivation when I look down 🙂

I’d get a footnote. Either “own today” or “be brave”.

I would get the Wide Swade Cuff that says stronger than yesterday. LOVE!
